Flower Pin Debate

Well, this one is up for debate. I have a pair of these pictures, last year one fell and broke into pieces. It had sat in the closet for months. One day, I was looking at my vintage enamel flower pins. I was thinking.... They are so pretty! How can I display them? Then, a light bulb went off! Oh yes, that broken picture. Well, after a little tlc, here is what it looks like. It now hangs in my bedroom. Hey, at least now I can see those flower pins! The debate is: I liked the picture before and after. What do you think?

Shakespeare's Tiara

I love vintage silver, silver plate or aluminum. Polished or old and grungy! Here are just a few of my pieces, along with Shakespeares bust and his rhinestone "Tiara" of course....

Be great in act, as you have been in thought.

*My Altered Art Canvas* Memories

I thought I would show you a piece of altered art that I made. It now hangs in my living room. And boy, I am not sure why, but it was very hard to get good pictures of it! It is very vibrant and colorful, in the pictures it looks a little dull. Each canvas measures 11"x14". So, all together it is pretty large. I used magazine clippings, postcards, doo dads, old earrings, a small silver spoon, even a Ken doll's shoe ..... Well, you get the idea. And of course, Mod Podge Galore! The only goal for the project was to use only things I really liked and loved. Everything brings back memories! Like I added a picture of the "Ten Commandments" a movie I watch every year at Easter. What fun! I even printed out images of my children and secretly slipped them in. Oh, and the dog surrounded by tiny letter caps is my dog, Bob.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
