It really was easy! The gesso went on just like paint. I saw this technique at Rosemary's Villabarnes blog. What a terrific idea! I will for sure be using this again on something! It makes an "instant" aged look.
You can find beauty in anything, somewhere! Even these old bulbs are eye catching!

I remember mt mum having these baubles when i was a kid, that shows how old i am, brings back great memorys
