*My Altered Art Canvas* Memories

I thought I would show you a piece of altered art that I made. It now hangs in my living room. And boy, I am not sure why, but it was very hard to get good pictures of it! It is very vibrant and colorful, in the pictures it looks a little dull. Each canvas measures 11"x14". So, all together it is pretty large. I used magazine clippings, postcards, doo dads, old earrings, a small silver spoon, even a Ken doll's shoe ..... Well, you get the idea. And of course, Mod Podge Galore! The only goal for the project was to use only things I really liked and loved. Everything brings back memories! Like I added a picture of the "Ten Commandments" a movie I watch every year at Easter. What fun! I even printed out images of my children and secretly slipped them in. Oh, and the dog surrounded by tiny letter caps is my dog, Bob.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my blogs. I'm so happy you did because it led me to yours. I love Christmas and I really love what you did with your altered art. I've been thinking of trying my hand at it and don't know the first place to start. Perhaps a local class somewhere around here. Yours is so beautiful, I don't know if I'd ever be able to come up with something that lovely.

I look forward to visiting you and reading your posts!
